Professor Ochs joined the Lehigh faculty in 1979 as an assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering, was promoted to associate professor in 1983, and to full professor in 1990. He founded and directed the Computer-Aided Design Labs in the ME & Mech Department from 1980 to 1999. He won the Dupont Young Faculty Award ('79-'83) and Lehigh's Outstanding Young Faculty Award ('85). From '85-'95 Ochs did extensive industry consulting and was involved in the start up of three companies. From '99 to the present, he has directed the IPD program. What started out in '94 as the capstone experience for mechanical engineering majors is now cross listed in engineering, business and arts with over 300 students from over 20 majors participating each year. The pilot program for this course won the '96 ASME curriculum innovation award and the '97 Newcomen Society's award for the promotion of America's free-enterprise system.

Lisa Getzler-Linn is the Associate Director of Lehigh University's Integrated Product Development (IPD) program. She serves as director of the Lehigh Entrepreneurs Network and Thalheimer Student Entrepreneurs Competition. Along with guiding students through the venture creation and product development process, her interests and research focus on intellectual property issues for student entrepreneurs, ethics in entrepreneurship, and assessment of student performance in multi-disciplined, team-based courses. In January 2004 the IPD program adopted the innovative assessment, evaluation and grading model, "Toolset of Rubrics and Alternative Assessments" developed by Ms. Getzler-Linn and continues to utilize this performance assessment methodology as a way to address grading equity across the diverse subject matter, population, majors and projects for which the IPD program is known.

Jeanette Brinker is Coordinator for Lehigh University’s Integrated Product Development (IPD) program.  She joined the IPD program on a part-time basis in 2008. In 2010, Jeanette became full-time, providing support to faculty, staff, students and senior peer mentors in the program.

Catherine Headman is a coordinator for Lehigh University's Baker Institute.  She has a Bachelor of Arts from Montclair State University and has been employed fulltime with Lehigh since 2004.  Catherine provides additional support to the IPD Program.
