Ergonomic Device for Making Vessel Incisions
The main focus of this project is to create an ergonomic device to be used by surgeons making vessel incisions. This device should be able to access all of the coronary vessels during an open heart procedure. It will be designed to create an incision in one step without obscuring the view of the vessel and incision. The actuation mechanism will allow the blade to easily retract after making the incision.
