Polyolefin Orthopaedic Device
The goal of this project is to analyze the orthopedic market and to determine an ideal polymer for providing support and comfort to the patient. The value-added function of this product is the custom sizing of the plastic sheets that will be used to form the orthopedic brace. This custom sheet will be formed by a brace manufacturing company to provide maximum comfort for a patient. This will include making a determination on the material properties required by the brace manufacturers and finding an optimal material for this task.
