Work Experience Description: (Actual work contingent upon the intern’s Experience and Education)
Manufacturing Process review and analysis. Quality Process review and analysis. Future Manufacturing and Assembly project review and analysis. Make vs Buy analysis. Capital Equipment ROI analysis. Market review and business rationalization. (And / Or) Documentation review including; Process flow, Quality plan, Purchasing and Planning procedures. Audit all procedures to ensure that documents and work is following the procedure. Look for areas of improvement and efficiency. Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures are up to date and that they are being used. 
The intern will complete a six to seven week assignment in the Fenhu Economic Development Zone of Wujiang, Jiangsu Province, with a focus on both their DCED assignment and this work experience. Two final reports and presentations will take place early next fall; one at Bracalente Manufacturing Group and one at DCED.

Position/Project Work: Marketing Communications Project Intern
Dates: June to August 2012 (6 weeks – dates may be negotiated)
Work Experience Description: A native English speaking project intern will become part of the team of the newly created information agency. The main goal of the project is to create and disseminate positive news about Ukraine in English, to the media outlets around the globe. The intern will be actively involved in the news creation process, negotiations with foreign agency partners, and in establishing new contacts with foreign media and journalists.
Daily duties will also include updating the agency’s web-site. The main outcome that we would expect from the native speaker’s internship is enlargement of our foreign network and media database, which the native speaker would be able to do easier than a Ukrainian speaking team-member.
In addition, the intern may be partially involved in other projects of CFC Consulting Company, depending on the assignments that the company would have during the summer. These might be projects in PR, mass communications, marketing communications or show-business.
Additional Information:
Skills desired: English native speaker, strong writing skills, and negotiation and communication skills. Basic knowledge in Journalism, PR would be an advantage, marketing and market research skills.

Work Experience Description:
The Viva Homes Analyst of Construction Process will be utilized to perform a research study in India regarding the complete procedure for constructing a building. The purpose of this internship will be to create a report on streamlining the construction process.
In general, there are five types of construction: Building Construction, Heavy / Civil Construction, Industrial Construction, Residential / Commercial Construction, Infrastructure related Construction. Each type of Construction project requires a unique team to plan, design, construct and maintain the project. 
During the internship the analyst will study the procedure for Land Acquisition i.e. obtaining the documents to:
  • check the reservation zone of land i.e. residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial etc
  • to check the title or ownership details
  • estimating the land cost
  • determining the payment terms
  • determining the documentation to transfer the land in the name of Constructor

Position/Project Work: Statistical Methodology Analyst Intern
Work Experience Description:
Position Description Summary: Statistical Methodology Analyst Intern
CROS NT is an international Contract Research Organization which provides functional and analytical services to the pharmaceutical industry in regards to clinical trial studies. The statistical department consists of two sub-divisions: Statistical Methodology and Statistical Programming. Under CROS NT’s Performance Management system, the intern will set objectives with his or her supervisor to be completed during the internship period. Specific Jobs or Project Outcome Requested:
The Statistical Methodology Analyst Intern will be responsible for:
  • Preparation of Statistical Analysis Plans for clinical trials under supervision of Senior or Lead Statistician
  • Writing of the Statistical Methodology and Results section of reports (under supervision)
  • To give statistical input to the design and review of Protocols and Case Report Forms (CRF) in clinical studies (under supervision)

Work Experience Description:
An intern will be assisting Vice Prime Minister’s Office on implementation of coordination and monitoring of activities of the executive branch of the Government of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic integration. These activities include:
NATO Integration Coordination:
  •  Elaboration and coordination of implementation of Annual National Program
  •  Cooperation with NATO under the framework of NATO-Georgia Commission
  •  Informing NATO member states about the events in Georgia
  •  Assisting with NATO information center activities
EU Integration Coordination:
  • Coordination and monitoring of the European Neighborhood Policy action plan implementation
  • Assistance to the cooperation on the EU initiative “Eastern Partnership”
  • Coordination of the EU assistance and programs
NATO Integration Coordination Department main functions:
  • Coordination and monitoring of the Government’s executive branch activities with regard to Euro-Atlantic integration

Work Experience Description:
An intern will be assisting Tatishev Foundation in designing and implementing its alumni program. The goal of the Tatishev Foundation is to support the sustainable development of Kazakhstan through the development of world class financial expertise through the provision of undergraduate and graduate scholarships in finance and economics fields to students with demonstrated financial need. The Foundation also provides scholarships to disabled young people for study at the high school or higher education level and grants to NGOs working in the social sector. The Foundation works closely with fellows during their study and upon graduation, particularly in the area of volunteerism. 
Specific Jobs or Project Outcome Requested: The intern would work with alumni to implement and, possibly, design, volunteer projects. An alternate project might involve developing a marketing plan for the Foundation to help them better inform potential applicants nationwide.
