Nurse Help Line - For Non-urgent questions
Example - "What over the counter medicine can I use for my symptoms?"
Sunday through Thursday during academic semesters 5:00pm - 8:00pm.
Dial 610-554-6160 to speak directly with a Lehigh University Health Center Nurse.
Provider On-Call - For Urgent Matters
Example - "Do I need to go to the hospital?"
Mid-August through the end of Spring Semester.
Call Campus Police after hours and on weekends 610-758-4200. Tell the dispatcher you’d like a call from the on-call provider. The only information you must give is your name and phone number. The physician or nurse practitioner on-call will call you back.
Weather Emergencies
In the case of a Weather Emergency that could make it very difficult
and dangerous for the Health and Wellness Center staff to get to
campus, please call our main number 610-758-3870 to see if we are
open.
If the staff is unable to work, the following supportive actions will
be taken:
- The direct Nurse Line 610-554-6160 will be open during regular office hours.
- A nurse practitioner or physician will be on call after hours as usual by calling the Campus Police 610-758-4200
- Saucon Valley Medical Center, phone 610-625-9090, 4801 Saucon Creek Rd, Center Valley
- Airport Road Emergicenter, phone 610-264-5844, 1791 Airport Rd, Allentown
- St. Luke’s North, phone 484-526-3000, 153 Broadhead Rd, Bethlehem
Other Options if the Health Center is Closed
Lehigh students who feel they cannot wait until the Health Center is open, may utilize the local Emergency Room or go to one of the following Urgent Care Centers.
