Services

The Lehigh University Health and Wellness Center provides acute and on-going care to over 4500 undergraduate and 1800 graduate students.

The scope of services provided by the Health and Wellness Center include, but is not limited to:

•	Walk-in, acute medical care
•	Medical visits by appointment
•	Routine Gynecological examinations
•	Contraceptive counseling/Emergency contraception
•	Allergy injections
•	Minor surgeries
•	Immunizations
•	Laboratory services
•	Many medications – Free of charge
•	Self Treatment Room
•	Wellness resource and relaxation rooms
•	Treatment for psychological issues in conjunction with the University Counseling Center www.lehigh.edu/~incso/cso.htm
•	Prescriptions for many medications, but not for ADD medication, accutane, and some psychiatric medicine Appointments for prescriptions should be made 24 hours in advance, Monday - Friday 8:30am -4:30pm. Please do not wait until you are at the last dose of your medication. Providers write prescriptions that students can have filled at a local pharmacy. The following drugstores are very close to campus. Medical records are strictly confidential and are released only with a student's written consent. Records release forms can be obtained at the Health and Wellness Center.

If a student wishes a member of the Health Center staff to discuss his/her case with a member of the Counseling Center staff, the student needs to sign a special release of information form.
