Session 2 -Classroom Management and Organization
Friday, September 25th, 10:30-12:00pm,Rauch 85. How does an effective teacher manage a classroom, motivate students, and deal with dificult classroom stituations? Presenter: Greg Reihman (LTS-Faculty Development/CAS Philosophy)

Session 3-Engaging Students
Thursday, October 8th, 1:30-3:00pm,
Packard 416. How do effective faculty engage and inspire students? How do they ensure content mastery and promote higher-order thinking? Presenters: Brian Pinaire (CAS-Political Science) and Greg Tonkay (RCEAS-Industrial Engineering).

Session 4-Crafting a Lecture
Friday, October 23rd 10:30-12:00pm, Rauch 85
How do faculty prepare a lecture? What are the best ways to deliver a lecture effectively? What do effective faculty keep in mind when teaching large groups of students? Natalie Foster (CAS-Chemistry), Raj Menon (CAS- International Relations).

Session 5-Course Design Workshop
Thursday, November 5th 1:30-3:00pm, Packard 416. How can we design classes, pose questions present material and design announcements so that students learn more deeply and retain what they've learned? Presenter: Greg Reihman (LTS-Faculty Development/CAS-Philosophy).

Session 6- Teaching, Learning and Technology Symposium
Thursday, November 19th 10:30am-1:15pm , Linderman Library. This symposium will highlight various innovative ways Lehigh faculty are using instructional technology and media in their teaching. .
