IDEAS major Abby Farrell earns Patriot League academic honors

For the second straight year, Lehigh women's tennis standout Abby Farrell has been named to the Academic All-Patriot League team. One of the Mountain Hawks' top players on the court, Farrell also boats an impressive 3.95 cumulative GPA off the court. She has made regular appearances on Lehigh's Dean's List and the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, in addition to now becoming a two-time Academic All-Patriot League selection.

Farrell studies in Lehigh's rigorous IDEAS (Integrated Degree in Engineering and Arts and Sciences) program. She has made the Dean's List in each of her first five semesters at Lehigh, highlighted by a  4.0 GPA semester in the fall of 2013. A two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, Farrell received the Lehigh women's tennis team's Scholar-Athlete Award following the 2013 season.

The Wilsonville, Oregon native keeps busy when she's not studying or grinding out points on the tennis court. Farrell is a member of Lehigh's Gryphon Society and serves as a campus tour guide.
