Dr. Yue Zhao, postdoctoral scholar with the Departments of Electrical Engeering at both Stanford University and Princeton University, will discuss "Optimal Inference And Sensor Locations In Smart Power Grids" at Packard Lab on Thursday, January 23 at 3:00 p.m. at 466 Packard Lab. The event is free and open to the Lehigh Community.
Zhao received his B.E. degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2006, before earning M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2007 and 2011. He is a recipient of the UCLA Dissertation Year Fellowship.
Zhao's research interests include the sustainable energy system, smart grid, infrastructure resilience and security, optimization theory and algorithms, data science, and information theory.
