Alumni firm wins State award for "small business impact"

Gregory Shemanski '82 is president and founder of Custom Processing Services, which has been named by The State of Pennsylvania as a winner of the 2013 Governor’s Impact Awards in the “Small Business Impact Award” category.

The nomination was reviewed by an independent panel of judges, and CPS was selected as a finalist for this honor for its efforts in creating jobs and making a difference in Pennsylvania. The State developed this awards program to celebrate companies and individuals who are investing in Pennsylvania and creating jobs.

Custom Processing Services is a contract manufacturer located in Reading, PA. The firm specializes in micronizing, pulverizing and media milling of both technical grade and GMP (food and pharmaceutical grade) manufacturing. At Lehigh Greg earned a B.A. in Business and minored in industrial engineering.
