James R. Maida '85 was named chairman of the Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation Board of Trustees.
Maida, a graduate of Lehigh's computer science department, will be the inaugural chairman of the board, which recently merged with the former Kimball Medical Center.
"James will be instrumental in helping to usher in a new era ... for Monmouth Medical Center's Southern Campus," said Denice Gaffney, vice president of Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation. "[He] will provide a fresh perspective that complements the changes that are happening during this pivotal time in the hospital and Foundation’s history."
Maida is also co-founder of Gaming Laboratories International, helping to develop the company into the largest of its kind with over 800 employees working across 21 offices worldwide.
