Fighting cancer on the smallest of scales

Daniel Roxbury '07 '12G has been named to a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship from the American Cancer Society. Roxbury is a Research Fellow in the lab of Dr. Daniel Heller as they develop nanomaterials to support the early detection of cancer and the innovative treatment of metastatic disease.

Roxbury, who studied at Lehigh with Professor Anand Jagota of Lehigh's Bioengineering program, specialized in the interaction between DNA and single-walled carbon nanotubes.
