  • Civil and Environmental Engineering

    Lehigh's civil engineering programs are recognized globally for expertise in structural, environmental, geotechnical and water resource engineering. Students conduct real-world research in the Center for Advanced Technology for Large Structural Systems (ATLSS) -- a national research center housing programs such as the George E. Brown, Jr. Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES@Lehigh). The department is also involved in the STEPS initiative, sustainable development and Engineers Without Borders chapter.
