Profile

Dr. Ting Wang directs the DataPower Lab (DPL) at Lehigh. His research invents new concepts and methods empowering large-scale data mining as well as bridges disciplinary boundaries for application of these advances to privacy, security, and trust issues. His current work focuses on modeling and mining dynamic, heterogenous and interdependent data sources.

Wang received a doctorate in computer science at Georgia Institute of Technology. Before joining Lehigh’s faculty, Wang was a research staff member and security analytics lead at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center. He is the recipient of a major innovation award for "Big Data Analytics for Cybersecurity" from IBM.
