Research-based Graduate Studies

Lehigh brings together scholarly and research capabilities to form strong, collaborative intellectual cores in key areas of science and exploration. These multidisciplinary teams provide fertile ground for intellectually-stimulating student research opportunities.

The first three areas can be described as grand challenges -- issues faced by modern society that engineers are called upon to address. The final two can be thought of as enabling technologies -- areas of innovation that contribute to success across all areas of science and engineering.

In addition to research-intensive graduate degrees, Lehigh offers a menu of Professional Master's programs for individuals interested in rapid advancement within a given industry sector.
