Gary G. Pan, President and CEO of Panacea Consulting, Inc., founded the information technology and information management services firm in 1990. Panacea's core competencies support program management, software development, systems engineering, and support services. The company's clients include federal agencies such as the Department of Labor, the Social Security Administration, the Federal Aviation Administration, Homeland Security, and the U.S. Army. Washington Technology, Government Computer News, and Washington Business Journal have recognized Panacea for its leadership and contributions within the federal contracting sector. Panacea is also a 1999 Inc. 500 award recipient.

Since 2004, Mr. Pan also serves as a director of Chicago based Lucid Technology, Inc. (Lucid) where he oversees the Washington DC operations. Lucid is an ISO 9000 information technology and information management firm supporting Federal agencies in their mission critical requirements. Lucid is a 2012 Inc. 500 award recipient.

Prior to 1990, Mr. Pan led various enterprises supporting international, government, and commercial organizations in the areas of information systems, process reengineering, trade policies, venture-capital opportunities, real estate and publishing. His professional experience combines management consulting with advanced technical solutions.

Mr. Pan currently serves on the board of the Northern Virginia Technology Council and is a co-chairman of the board of advisors of The Entrepreneur Center @NVTC, which provides resources and services to emerging technology companies and individual entrepreneurs in Northern Virginia and across the National Capital region. He has also served on the board of directors of Junior Achievement of the National Capital Area, the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Great Falls Citizens Association. Mr. Pan is a member of Rotary International and other civic related organizations. He also serves as a Boy Scouts of America Scoutmaster and Venture Crew Advisor and has led youth to National and World Jamborees. In October 2001, Washington Techway recognized Mr. Pan as one of the region's top managers.

Mr. Pan earned his master's in business administration with a concentration in international management from Virginia Tech and his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minor in legal studies from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in management (ABD) with a concentration in organization leadership and entrepreneurship at the University of Phoenix.
