Paulus, Donald E.

Donald Paulus received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh in 1979 before going on to earn an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Colorado. While at Lehigh, Paulus was a brother of Sigma Nu Fraternity and a member of the Marching 97.

Paulus is currently the Vice President and General Manager of the Power Business Unit of Linear Technology Corp, a position he accepted in 2003. Before stepping up as Vice President, he had served as the Director of Satellite Design Centers within Linear Technology since 2001. As director, he supervised Linear Technology's seven remote design centers in addition to central engineering services.

After graduation, Paulus worked at Bell Laboratories until 1984 when he took a position with Honeywell Signal Processing Technologies until 1989. At Sierra Semiconductor, where he worked from 1989-1991, Paulus served in a variety of engineering and management positions. From 1990 to 1999, he worked for Integrated Sensor Solutions, Inc. (ISS). Paulus was one of the founders of the company and served as Vice President of Engineering and CEO. When ISS was acquired by Texas Instruments in 1999, he served as TI's General Manager of Automotive Sensors and Controls in San Jose until October 2001 when he moved on to Linear Technology.

Paulus currently resides in San Jose, California with his wife Denise, their two daughters, and their dog.
