Lehigh University's energy research program deals with a diverse group of topics, ranging from stack emissions from electric generating plants to the coverage of energy issues in the mass media. The scope of these activities, funded by government agencies and industrial organizations, includes fossil fuels, electric power generation, energy conservation and renewable resources, environmental aspects of energy systems, materials for energy applications and basic energy-related engineering and science studies.
