Lehigh University is located approximately 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles west of New York City. The Lehigh Valley, consisting of the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton have a metropolitan population of over 500,000. The predominant minority group in the Lehigh Valley is Latino, with a sizeable percentage of African Americans as well.
