Students in Training
Gena Gallo is an Ed.S. student in the School Psychology Department. During her first year in the program, she began work on the Autism Training Grant, which focuses on the inclusion of students with autism in general education settings. In addition, she currently works on the RTI Training Grant at Overlook Elementary School in the Abington School District outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This location is also where Gena will complete her full-time internship as a school psychologist in the 2009-2010 school year.
Melissa Marenus is an Ed.S. student in the School Psychology Department. Last year, Melissa worked on the Autism Training Grant which aimed to facilitate the inclusion of students with autism into general education settings. She is currently working on the RtI Training Grant at Charles Kelly Elementary and Highland Park Elementary in the Upper Darby School District. Upper Darby School District is also where she will complete her full-time internship during the 2009-2010 school year.
Mary Kate Wright is an Ed.S student in the School Psychology Department. During her first year at Lehigh, she helped facilitate inclusion for students with autism into general education through the Inclusion Training Grant. This past semester, Mary Kate has been working in the Northern Lehigh School District on the RtI Training Grant; next semester she will be in Central Dauphin School District, at Rutherford Elementary School. It is at Central Dauphin that Mary Kate will complete her full-time internship during the 2009-2010 school year. Her professional interests include working with students with disabilities and collaborative consultation.
