Our purpose is to train certification level school psychologists as specialists in the development, implementation, and facilitation of RTI with particular attention to urban and rural settings, as well as the requirements of moving RTI toward the middle school level.
As part of the project requirements, interns develop and produce a training video illustrating components of RTI. The first cohort of trainees developed this video on Data Based Decision Making.
The project is a collaborative effort between the School Psychology program at Lehigh University and
school districts within the region who have established working and effective models of RTI.
STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THEIR DEGREE WHILE THE PROJECT IS STILL ACTIVE. ASSUMING THE PROJECT WILL HAVE NO COST EXTENSION YEARS, ALL STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE AND RECEIVE THEIR ED.S. BY AUGUST 2013.
