Thanks again to everyone who participated in the 11th Annual Cross-University Collaborative Mentoring Conference! CUCMC 2011: Reaching New Heights: Current Research, Practice, and Policy in Child Development WELCOME! We are happy to announce that the 11th Annual Cross-University Collaborative Mentoring Conference (CUCMC) will be co-hosted by doctoral students from Lehigh University and the University of Delaware. The conference will be held on June 13 and 14, 2011, at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. CUCMC is an annual, student-led conference that focuses on providing graduate students with the opportunity to obtain mentoring on their independent research projects. Students who present at the conference have the opportunity to receive feedback from both faculty and fellow students with similar research interests from various universities and fields of study. Doctoral students may submit their personal work at any stage of research, from proposal stage through study completion. Typical presentations include research theses, doctoral qualifying projects, and doctoral dissertation work. The theme of this year’s conference stresses the relationship between research, practice, and policy in developmental fields. Based on this theme, conference activities will incorporate professionals from community, policy, and academic positions. We look forward to hosting you at Lehigh this year.
