The Center for Promoting Healthy Development for Individuals with Disabilities is one of multiple projects within the Center for Promoting Research to Practice – Schools, Families, Communities. Primary objectives: provide infrastructure support to establish and develop the Center for Promoting Research to Practice, provide support for the acquisition of additional research grants consistent with promoting research-to-practice, establish support for dissemination for projects within the Center, and establish partnerships to meet the research and evaluation needs of schools and agencies. Funding has been provided through a series of appropriations made by the U.S. Congress and the Fund for the Improvement of Post Secondary Education.
