Lehigh Support for Community Living provides support to help adults with developmental disabilities reside and participate in their communities. Supported living and residential services are provided. Individualized, person-centered supports are put in place to help people establish and maintain their homes, develop independence and self-determination, become active citizens of their local community, and enhance their overall quality of life. Innovative and research-based practices are used to provide supports for:
- In-home and community-based instruction
- Self-management and self-determination
- Social inclusion and relationships
- Participation in civic, volunteer, and recreational activities
- Health and safety
- Emotional well-being (Positive Behavior Supports)
The ultimate goal of Lehigh Support is to provide whatever assistance is needed to help people to live happily, safely, and comfortably in their homes and community.
