"The dynamic relationship between global mass schooling models and the unique educational experiences of individuals fascinates me both as a scholar and as a teacher. This is why my work is directed toward the cross-national comparison of educational systems and effects."

Docudrama screening of “In the Name of Love and Revolution”

Based on the true story of a feminist professor and a revolutionary artist
who launch a women's rights movement in Southern Punjab, Pakistan.  Deep into the heart of contemporary Pakistani society, the consciousness-raising organization ReWAC (Revolutionary Women Action Committee) lays bare the paradoxes, hypocrisy and contradictions of a dying society. Follow the story of these women as their jobs are eliminated and their fight
continues, sending a message to other women and activists who dare to
strive for social change.

Followed by discussion with the producers, Shirin & Moen Haider, who are
sponsored by the International Institute of Education Scholar Rescue
Program
