"I grew up in Philadelphia and did my undergraduate work in English at Penn State. After graduating, I worked as a technical writer in Madison, WI and then an ESL teacher in Busan, South Korea and West Philadelphia. In my free time, hiking, reading, and travel are my favorite pastimes.

I came to Lehigh's CIE program because my experiences abroad had led me to be interested in how and why education differed so much between countries. When I read about the aims and content of the program, it sounded exactly like what I had been thinking about on my own. The prospects for a future in the CIE field are very exciting ."
