CONNECTIONS,Family

You and your child have been accepted into the Family Connections program, a group of fun activities and workshops for parents and young children through a partnership between Parent-Child Home Program and Lehigh University. Please see the additional links for details on activities and workshops. Refreshments will be served along with a raffle to win one of two $25 gift cards each time! Family Connections will begin in January and will continue each month through June for 2007. Monthly workshops will begin again the following year.

And there's more...

Participate in a CARES home visit!

As part of Family Connections, you may also volunteer to participate in a CARES home visit. A trained community member will visit you in your home to complete a few simple reading activities with your child. These activities, such as reading a story together or talking about an exciting memory, provide a lot of information on the growth and development of a child's language skills. For your participation, you will receive $25 for completion of each home visits' reading activities. These opportunities will occur in the beginning, middle, and end of the school year.
