LEADING WITH TECHNOLOGY

Tonya Amankwatia, an '08 graduate and the first recipient of the new Learning Sciences and Technology Ph.D., is the Distance Education and Instructional Technology Director at DeSales University. Working just a few miles south on RTE 378, Amankwatia did not have to travel far to find an opportunity to lead from the Lehigh legacy. She now heads the effort to shape and support DeSales University's campus technology integration and Web-based instruction as well as its global outreach, already in places such as Romania and India.
