Subject: Compactly generated spaces

Gaunce Lewis points out to me that I^M is compact Hausdorff, therefore
compactly generated.  Gerd Laures's example is therefore a genuine
counterexample.

Surely Gerd Laure's example is compactly generated.  Any product, infinite
or not, of quasicompact spaces is quasicompact and similarly any product
of Hausdorff spaces is Hausdorff.  Thus I^M is compact Hausdorff---a
fortiori, compactly generated.
