   A while ago someone showed me a manuscript by Bill Richter in which
   he derives various stable splittings using Dold's fixed-point
   transfer.  I don't think it was ever published - I can't find it on
   MathSciNet or the Hopf archive, anyway.  Also, I've not been able
   to find a web page or email address or physical address for Bill.
   Can anyone put me in touch with him and/or send me a copy of the
   paper?
