Subject: midwest topology conference announcement From: Matthew Ando Date: Tue, 21 Aug 2007 14:49:56 -0500 Fall 2007 Midwest Topology Conference (First announcement) The Midwest Topology Conference for the fall of 2007 will take place at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on Saturday October 13, 2007. The speakers for the conference are Michael Ching (Johns Hopkins) Nathan Dunfield (Univeristy of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) David Gepner (University of Sheffield) Michael Mandell (Indiana University) The first talk will be at 10am. We hope to organize an informal party on Saturday evening. The National Science Foundation has made some funds available to the Midwest Topology Conference, particularly to support participation by early-career mathematicians.
