A 4 year position for a Post Doctoral researcher in pure mathematics is
available at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Oslo in

deadline is May 14th, 2002.

The position is given to the department in order to support research in
the field of topology/geometry as pursued at the University of Oslo, and
preference will therefore be given to applicants working in that field.
The topology/geometry group at Oslo presently consists of professors Hans
Brodersen, Per Holm, Bjørn Jahren, Jon Reed, John Rognes and Per Tomter,
together with several graduate students.
