sure, abstract thinking
BUT that still leaves us to make the case as to why
abstract thinking is important

Klaus Peters has printed a little booklet
a bilingual version of a piece that was written for
the Berlin ICM
it deals with some  of the stereotypes quite effectively

I've just leaned that Ed Moise died in Dec.  many of you young'un's
may not know the name, but he was resposnible for my becoming
a topologist, mdoified RL Moore method.
