Date: Wed, 28 Apr 1999 10:34:04 -0400 (EDT) From: "J. Michael Boardman" Subject: JAMI We now have a web page for JAMI for the 1999-2000 year. Its address is http://www.math.jhu.edu and look under JAMI. Actually, this is the departmental web page. So far, all the JAMI web page contains is the following blurb: JAMI Program 2000 A cooperative program on homotopy theory is being planned for the Spring semester of 2000 at the Johns Hopkins University in conjuction with the Japan-U.S. Mathematical Institute (JAMI), which we have in our department. The organizers are J.M. Boardman, J.J. Morava, G. Nishida, W.S. Wilson, and N. Yagita. Because financing is still in the making, plans have not yet solidified. Watch this web page for developments. Prospective participants (for varying periods of time) include: Bendersky, Davis, Iwase, Mahowald, Mimura, Minami, Nishida, Ravenel, Shimomura, Torii, Yagita, and Yoshimura. In addition, we expect to hold a workshop and conference with the title "Recent Progress in Homotopy Theory". This is where future information will appear. So could you install whatever links are appropriate at your end? Thanks Mike Boardman _____________________________________________________________- I have made a link to it on the "links" subpage of the discussion list archive, http://www.lehigh.edu/~dmd1/algtop.html DMD
