Date: Wed, 26 Jan 2000 19:59:04 -0500 (EST) From: James Stasheff I know there are several existing family trees for subsets of topology. The follwoing is for mathematics more generally, but should be of interest to genealogically mnded topologists: The Mathematics Geneology Project is constructing a family tree of mathematicians. Would anyone there have a list of Ph.D's awarded there? preferably complete but any available subset would do. The Project is visible at hcoonce.math.mankato.msus.edu Thanks .oooO Jim Stasheff jds@math.unc.edu (UNC) Math-UNC (919)-962-9607 \ ( Chapel Hill NC FAX:(919)-962-2568 \*) 27599-3250 http://www.math.unc.edu/Faculty/jds
