I know there are several existing family trees for subsets of
topology.  The follwoing is for mathematics more generally,
but should be of interest to genealogically mnded topologists:

 The Mathematics Geneology Project is constructing a family
tree of mathematicians.  Would anyone there have a list
of Ph.D's awarded there?    preferably complete
but any available subset would do.
