Thanks Andrew Ranicki **************************************************************************************************************** POSTDOC POSITION IN EDINBURGH The EU TMR network "K-theory and algebraic groups" http://www.mathematik.uni-bielefeld.de/K+AG/ has funds for up to 15 months for a young researcher to work in Edinburgh. The network ends in September 2004. The basic rules are that the researcher has to be at most 35 years old, has to be a citizen of an EU Member State (other than the UK) or an Associated State, has spent a maximum of 12 months in the UK out of the last 24 months, has to spend an integer multiple of months in Edinburgh. Qualified mathematicians working in any topic covered by the network will be considered, although there is a preference for the applications of algebraic K- and L-theory to the topology of manifolds.
