Converting Files from Office formats

Files created in Microsoft Office can be automatically converted/inserted into Contribute pages.

To do this, open the page for editing or create a new page.

• Go to the Insert menu and choose Microsoft Office Document.
  
• Choose the document you want to insert.(You may have to change the file type in the drop down menu, if you want to insert a Powerpoint or Excel document.)
• Click Open.
• 
  Select the way you want to insert it. We suggest avoiding the flashpaper option, and either insert the contents or create a link to the document.
• Click Ok.
