Macromedia Contribute for Personal Web Pages
Configuring Contribute
Once you have Contribute installed, you will want to configure it so you can edit your personal pages. From the page that comes up when you start Contribute, click on "Create Connection"
The Connection Wizard will open:


- Enter your Name
- Enter your Email address
- Click Next.

- Enter the web address of your homepage:
http://www.lehigh.edu/~userid/
where userid is your 4-letter Lehigh userid.
- Click Next.

- Under How do you Connect to your Web Server, click on the drop-down menu and choose Secure FTP (SFTP).
- For the name of the SFTP server, enter ws2.cc.lehigh.edu
- For the SFTP login, enter your 4-letter Lehigh userid
- For the SFTP password, enter your Lehigh email password.
- Click Next.

- For the folder, enter /ahome/userid/public/www-data/ where userid is your Lehigh username. Or use Choose to select your webspace folder. *
- Click Next.
At this point, you do need to decide whether you want to list yourself as the 'Administrator' of the site, or not. In most cases, you will want to make yourself the Administrator. However, if you are not sure, you can make yourself a User.

- If you choose to be the administrator, click "Yes, I want to be the administrator"

- You will need to enter a password-- you can make this up yourself. It should be something you can remember and it should not be your email password.
- Either way, click Next to go to the next page.
The settings you chose for your system will be displayed
- Click Done to complete the setup.
Your site main page will be displayed in the Contribute browser window.
