Using Macromedia
Dreamweaver MX 2004 |
Uploading
Webpages from Dreamweaver
Lehigh's web server requires a secure file transfer connection
for uploading-- either SCP or HTTPS. Dreamweaver MX does include an option to
use 'SSH tunnelling' to establish uploading, but it is fairly complex to set
up. For simplicity, Lehigh recommends SSH Secure File Transfer.
(However, at other institutions, FTP may be available, and Dreamweaver
does include an FTP upload/publish function.)
To install SSH with Secure File Transfer
It is also available from the Install Software icon for on-campus
users.
More Basic Instructions are online at: https://www.lehigh.edu/security/download/UsingSSH.html
