SITE AVAILABILITY

This public site is available for public use during regular school session:

Monday through Thursday 6:30 AM - Midnight
Friday 6:30 AM - 9:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Sunday Noon - Midnight

PC HARDWARE

This facility contains (38) Dell Pentium 4 3.4GHz machines with:

• 80GB hard drive
• 1 GB RAM
• 1.4MB floppy drive
• CDrw/DVD
• LCD monitor
• Audio

Headsets are not available, you must bring your own. The computer's sound ports accept an audio connector known as a "stereo miniplug". Headsets with this type of connector are available for purchase from the Bookstore.

NETWORK - PRINTING

All PCs are connected via a 100baseT which is connected to the high-speed fiber backbone. The HP Laserjet 4250dtn printer located in this room can be accessed from any computer within the room.

PROBLEMS

If you have any problems, please notify the consultant on duty by reporting the position letter of the failing unit and the problem or call X8HELP. Also notify the consultants if supplies are needed or to report other problems.

SITE POLICIES

• The use of the printer is for small original copies only (less than 50 pages), multiple copies are prohibited.
• Food or drink is prohibited.
• Clients are expected to bring an audio headset to use audio services from the computer equipment configured with this capability.
• The computing facilities are available for use by Lehigh faculty, staff and students.
