Equipment Description and Capabilities                    

This room has been equipped with a large rear-screen projection system.  All equipment is secured behind locked cabinetry and access is by arrangement only.  Contact Kathy Dugan (84925) for information about access to the technology in this room.  The projection system is configured to display from a user-supplied laptop, a DVD/VCR or a television tuner.  A cable for attaching a laptop to the display system is provided in the cabinet.  These devices are connected to an amplifier and speakers.  Devices are selected and controlled from the LCD AMX touch panel located in the cabinet below and to the left of the display.  A special code can be used to release the control system for remote operation.

Kathy Dugan (84925) can be contacted for assistance in the use of this room.  Instructional Media Services may be also be contacted at x83059 if you wish to arrange for training on this room's features prior to using the room.  Trouble reports may be reported to the Help Desk at x8HELP (84357).
Usage of the Devices

     2.  Attach your laptop and network cord if needed. 
     3. Power up the VCR/DVD if being used (button on the device)
     4. Touch the button on the AMX touch-pad that corresponds to the device to be projected.
“VHS” activates VHS VCR and displays the play, pause and other controls
“DVD” activates the DVD player and displays the player controls (“More Controls” takes you to the DVD menu page)
 “Laptop” activates the male VGA and stereo mini audio jack for client supplied laptop.
“TUNER” displays the campus cable system channels
“Projector Image Off” blanks the projector image; "Image On" reactivates the image
