Lehigh's Virtual Public Computing Site

What is it?

Lehigh's Virtual Public Computing Site allows faculty, staff and students to use some of Lehigh University's most popular software via the VMWare View client, which is installable on any computer on and off campus. Once connected users will be able to run any software listed below without the need to install it on thier own computer. The software that is currently available on the virtual public computing site is listed below.

Setting Up & Using the Virtual Public Site

Lehigh University faculty, staff and students may use Lehigh's Virtual Public Computing Site from any Lehigh-owned or personally owned computer on or off campus. If you are a new user, you must first install the VMWare View Client on your computer. Instructiuons for setting up the VMWare View Client and establishing a connection for the virtual public site can be found below.

Important Note Regarding Off-campus Use

In order to install the VMWare View Client and establish a connection to the virtual public site from off-campus, you must first be connected to the Lehigh VPN. Learn more about and setup the Lehigh VPN on your computer.
