Logging into HPC machines using SSH Secure Shell

Please attention: SSH Secure Shell 3.2 is a deprecated software package from SSH Communications Security. Although it works for most situations, we cannot guarantee that it works for every software we have on servers especially when you want to use graphical interface. If you want to use higher version of SSH Secure Shell, please refer to SSH Communications.

Download and Install SSH Secure Shell

SSH 3.2 is already installed on the public site computers all over campus.

1. Download from Lehigh Software Site.

2. Install SSH Secure Shell.

Start SSH Secure Shell

1. In the Start menu, click on All Programs, then SSH Secure Shell. Click "Quick Connect" on the toolbox, type the hostname you want to logon and your account name.

2. If you want to transfer files,you may click on Window->New File Transfer in you secure-shell window. It will open a file transfer window like:
