In order to run AnSys/Fluent Graphical User Interface (GUI), you need to make sure your log onto the servers with graphical support.
1. For Altair, type "/usr/local/ansys_inc/v121/Framework/bin/Linux64/runwb2 ".

3. Sometimes, the system will pop up a small screen when you launch the workbench. It shows that you can view some tutorials from Ansys official Website. If you wish to do so, here is the Customer number "00252106" which is required for the registration on the website.

1. After starting Ansys Workbench, you can drag "Geometry" component from the sidebar on the left-hand side of the workbench to your main workspace.
2. Right click Geometry and you can import models to the workbench. Ansys also provides sample models for you. The location of sample models is "/usr/local/ansys_inc/v121/aisol/Samples".

3. After importing models, double-click "Geometry" icon, the system will show you designer.
