Fluent Policy

A maximum of three licenses can be used by a user. If a user needs to use more than three licenses, he/she should submit a request.

Number of processes on Compute Server

A maximum of 4 CPUs may be used by any user regardless of total load on the compute server. Any extra processes may be killed by the administrator.

Running programs on Beowulf Clusters

The Condor Enhanced Level II pool contains machines capella, inferno[1-40], ise[1-4], and trit[1-3]. Users should not run long programs on the head node of the Condor cluster (blaze.cc.lehigh.edu). This node is meant only for compiling and debugging programs. All jobs should be submitted using condor.

The Corona cluster runs the PBS scheduler. The head node (corona1.cc.lehigh.edu) can be used for running compilation, debugging and interactive jobs.

Rent HPC Servers & Clusters

Users can rent our computer servers and certain number of cluster nodes for dedicated usage. See details.
