Manual Configuration of Windows XP
for Access to the Lehigh VPN

• Go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections
• Click "Create a new Connection" or double-click the
  "New Connection Wizard"
• In the "New Connection Wizard window, click Next, and then select
  "Connect to the network at my workplace" and click Next again.
• Select "Virtual Private Network" connection, and click Next again.
• In the "Connection Name" window, enter something like "Lehigh VPN"
  for the "Company Name", and click Next again.
• In the "Public Network" window, select
  "Do not dial the initial connection" unless you use a dial-up
  Internet connection. If you do, select it from the pull-down,
  and click Next again.
• In the "VPN Server Selection" window, enter "sslvpn.lehigh.edu"
  (without quotes) in the box under "Host Name or IP Address",
  and click Next again.
• In the last window, check off whether or not you want a shortcut for
  the connection on the desktop, and click "Finish".
• Double-click the connection icon on the desktop or select it from
  the menu under "Start > Connect To. . ."
