Grace Caskie, assistant professor in the department of education
and human services, earned her doctorate and master’s
degree in quantitative psychology from the University
of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and her bachelor’s
degree in psychology and mathematics from Millersville
University of Pennsylvania. In addition to numerous publications,
Caskie has taught courses at Pennsylvania State Universities
and UNC-Chapel Hill. She is a member of the American
Psychological Association, the Eastern Psychological
Association, and the Gerontological Society of America,
and has delivered over twenty presentations to these
groups. Her teaching interests include statistics and
research methods, multivariate statistics, test theory,
and structural equation modeling.

Judith Duffield, associate professor,
Technology-based Teacher Education, received her doctorate
in instructional systems
from the Florida State University and her master’s
and bachelor’s degrees in educational technology
and Spanish, respectively, from San Diego State University.
Prior to joining Lehigh, Duffield was an associate professor
at the University of Colorado at Denver and evaluated
grants for both the Colorado Department of Education
and the Colorado School of Mines. In addition to delivering
over fifty research presentations, she has secured numerous
grants from the U.S. Department of Education and has
been published in the Action in Teacher Education, Childhood
Education, and Journal of Technology and Teacher Education.

George Roesser, professor of practice,
Educational Leadership, earned his doctorate in urban education
from Temple University,
his master’s degree in secondary counselor education
from Villanova University, and his bachelor’s degree
in liberal arts from LaSalle University. An award-winning
leader in Philadelphia middle and high schools, Roesser
joins Lehigh after his most recent position as principal
of Conwell Middle Magnet School in Philadelphia. In addition,
he also taught accelerated graduate leadership courses
at Gwynedd Mercy College. The recipient of multiple honors,
including two principal of the year awards, Roesser’s
interests include preparing leaders in the School District
of Philadelphia and applying theory to practice.

Jill Sperandio, assistant professor,
Education Leadership International program, received her
doctorate in educational policy
and administration from the University of Chicago, her
master’s degree in secondary education and administration
from Worchester State College, and her bachelor’s
degree with honors in geography and American Studies
from the University College of Wales. Sperandio comes
to Lehigh from the International Secondary School of
Eindhoven, Netherlands, where she was deputy head. She
has also worked as a principal in Azerbaijan, Venezuela,
and Tanzania. In addition to teaching in Uganda, Kuwait,
and Malta, she has been published in Education as Change,
Gender and Development, and Gender and Education.
