Eve LaPier came to Lehigh University after living for 25 years in Mexico where she worked at an American School as a middle school science and math teacher, school librarian, and elementary school principal. She is a third year graduate assistant and full time student in the Educational Leadership doctoral program. Her research interests are in the area of ethics and educational leadership, and in issues of social justice specifically related to the Latino experience within the social and educational systems in the U. S. She also enjoys doing volunteer work with the Latino community in the Lehigh Valley.
