Richard A. Anderson has served as President and CEO of St. Luke’s Hospital & Health Network since 1985. St. Luke's is a fully integrated network with four separate hospital sites, a VNA and over 6,500 employees. Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and a MPH in Hospital Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health. He has lectured nationally and is recognized for his expertise in health care reform, cost containment, public policy and competition. Mr. Anderson has been published nationally in forums such as Hospitals magazine, and under his leadership, St. Luke’s has received consecutive numerous national awards, including recognition for seven consecutive years by U.S. News and World Report for its cardiology and open heart surgery services. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served on various committees of state and local health care organizations.
