CALL FOR POSTERS:
During the reception set for Monday 5:00-6:30p.m., all attendees are invited to display a poster highlighting their research efforts. Lehigh will provide easels, push pins, and 36” by 48” foamcore boards to all registrants who identified themselves as poster-presenters in the workshop registration system; poster-presenters must bring their own printed posters.
NOTE: All workshop attendees MUST register through the online system September 23, 2009. Any attendees who wish to present a poster will be asked to provide additional information during the registration process.
Poster formatting guidelines are as follows:
- Posters should measure no more than 36 inches by 48 inches (36x48)
- Please use Arial or an Arial-like font (e.g., Helvetica) if possible.
- Please include these elements near the top of the poster:
- The title of the poster ( font-size of 128-points, slightly smaller or larger is fine).
- The authors of the work
- Be sure to identify the organizations/institutions involved
Student posters will be judged by open ballot during the event reception; awards, in the form of reimbursment for travel to academic conferences to further present their work, will be given to the top 3 poster submissions as selected by the balloting.
